MARLIN’S SPECIAL INVESTIGATIONS, INC. (MSI) is an Iowa Private Investigative Agency located in Cedar Rapids, Iowa. Established in 1994, MSI offers a wide variety of Investigative Services for Attorneys, Insurance Companies, Businesses, Private Individuals and other Private Investigative Agencies. Although we are located in Cedar Rapids, we work with clients all over Iowa and the entire U.S.
Our investigators are licensed, bonded, and insured. The State of Iowa requires all private investigators be licensed by the Iowa Department of Public Safety. All reports and correspondance with the client are kept confidential. The initial consultation is free so please call to see if we can assist you. We have worked thousands of cases over the years, and use the knowledge, skill, and experience acquired over that time to work successfully on your case. Our investigators have testified on numerous cases and can testify for your case if needed. MSI uses video, covert video, GPS trackers, cameras and database resources to meet your investigative needs.
Jeff Marlin, a former police officer is owner of MSI and has over 25 years of investigative experience. Mike Marlin, a retired Iowa Division of Criminal Investigation (DCI) Special Agent has over 40 years of investigative experience. Mike is currently retired from MSI but remains on as a consultant.
